Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Prelims exam for Civil Services Examination (CSE) nearly in the month of May or June and declares the result within 45 days of the exam. Aspirants can check their scores on the official website of the commission, the link for which is

This result carves the path for UPSC Mains (written test of General Studies, Optional subjects & Language papers) for the aspirant.

The UPSC Prelim exam is organised in two parts – Paper-I and Paper-II, the marks obtained in Paper I alone are considered for the merit list. candidates must obtain 66 marks (33 percent) in Paper-II to be eligible to write the mains. Aspirants just need 33 per cent score in Paper II of UPSC Prelims to get their name into UPSC Prelims Result list.

  • Enter your details like registration number, date of birth and click on submit button.
  • View and download the result.
  • Take print out of your result for further reference.
